Shefflin chooses RTÉ over Sky Sports

Henry Shefflin is set to join RTE's stable of GAA pundits, it is understood.
The most decorated hurler of all time had confirmed earlier this week that he was in discussions with the national broadcaster and Sky Sports about working on with them for the forthcoming championship.
However, it is now expected that the Kilkenny legend will not be linking up with the British company, and will instead feature on The Sunday Game.
On Tuesday, Shefflin spoke of his enthusiasm about getting involved in analysis this summer having announced his retirement last month.
"I’m looking at one or two options, what best suits myself. It’s commitment-wise again. I’d said to (his wife) Deirdre at home that my commitments were going to finish – if you’re involved with that it’s a
commitment again. It’s just to weigh that up and see what best suits myself.
"I’m hoping to do a bit of work this summer, definitely. I’m going to miss it so I’d like to be involved in it. Being part of the games, not just Kilkenny but the other games as well, will give me a good footprint into it."
