Fitzmaurice happy with draw after second half Mayo blitz
Kerry boss Eamonn Fitzmaurice admitted his side was powerless to halt the Mayo juggernaut as a memorable All-Ireland semi-final was turned on its head at Croke Park.
Five points ahead and a man up, the Kingdom appeared to have their destiny very much in their own hands, but a crazy second half was played on Mayo’s terms, and at the frenetic pace they brought to an epic tie.
