JBM: Cadogan incident 'definitely a free'

Cork manager, Jimmy Barry-Murphy was adamant that Alan Cadogan was denied a late free that would in all probability have snatched victory for his team, but emphasised that his side had struggled to match Waterford until the final 20 minutes.

Barry-Murphy said: “I thought we were poor in the first half in particular, even though there was a strong breeze. We didn’t get to grips with the game. Waterford certainly took the games to us and when we went nine points down it didn’t look good at all and I was very dubious whether we’d be able to come back from that.
