VIDEO: Promotion eludes Wicklow despite scarcely believable comeback win

Wicklow’s bid for promotion from Division 4 of the National Football League fell short in Semple Stadium yesterday despite a thrilling three-goal comeback late in the game.

The Garden County trailed Tipperary by seven points as normal time elapsed but reeled off three quick-fire goals without reply to stun those in attendance and record a scarcely believable two-point victory.
