Donegal and Monaghan retain their position of strength at the top of Division 2 of the Allianz Football League after their wins over Louth and Laois.

The 2013 All-Ireland champions are almost guaranteed promotion as a result of their 1-19 to 3-7 success in Ballyshannon, a result that relegated Louth to Division 3.
