Cian McCarthy has won a starting place on the Cork team for Saturday's All-Ireland SHC final replay against Clare at Croke Park (throw-in 5pm).
McCarthy made a brief appearance during the drawn game, coming on in the second half before picking up an ankle injury which led to him being replaced by Cathal Naughton.
But the Glanmire native is now back to full fitness and will start at centre forward on Saturday evening, taking over from the benched Jamie Coughlan who was held scoreless and replaced at half-time the last day.
Rebels manager Jimmy Barry-Murphy will be hoping that the strongly-built McCarthy can be just as influential for Cork as he was when they beat Clare in June's Munster semi-final - on that day he led the possession statistics and chipped in with a point.
For this weekend's rematch with the Banner men, Seamus Harnedy is selected at wing forward despite reports of him missing training with a knock he sustained in the 3-16 to 0-25 draw.
Team captain Pa Cronin reverts to the left wing with Conor Lehane, one of the goal scorers in the September 8 duel, pencilled in at top of the left this time around.
