Homecoming celebration for Dublin this evening

Big celebrations are planned in the city tonight following Dublin's All Ireland Football Final win yesterday.

It is the second win for the boys in blue in just two years.

A homecoming will be hosted by the Lord Mayor of Dublin Oisin Quinn in Merrion Square at 7pm.

Jim Gavin's men beat Mayo at Croke Park yesterday by 2-12 to 1-14.

Traffic restrictions will be in place in the Merrion Square area from 6pm this evening.
