Fitzgerald sticks with same Clare team for Limerick clash

Clare manager Davy Fitzgerald has chosen an unchanged team for tomorrow's All-Ireland SHC semi-final against Munster rivals Limerick at Croke Park (throw-in 3.30pm).

Fitzgerald has kept faith with the fifteen players who started the recent quarter-final victory over Galway, with chief free-taker Colin Ryan averaging eight points per game in this summer's Championship - he is Clare's leading scorer with 0-40 (0-29f, 0-6 '65').

Conor Ryan and Darach Honan were late inclusions in the Banner attack against Galway and they have retained their places for tomorrow's clash, with Peter Duggan and Shane O'Donnell again kept in reserve.

This will be Clare's sixth outing of the Championship campaign having beaten Waterford and lost to Cork in Munster before overcoming Laois and Wexford in the All-Ireland qualifiers and Galway in the quarter-final three weeks ago.

A win against John Allen's Shannonsiders would set up the county's first All-Ireland senior final appearance since 2002. Cork lie in wait for the victors in the September 8 decider.
