Corbett in hospital with broken ribs

Tipperary's Lar Corbett was last night brought to hospital after suffering broken ribs during yesterday's Allianz Hurling League final defeat to Kilkenny at Nowlan Park.

The 2010 hurler of the year was admitted in Clonmel as a precaution to assess the possibility of kidney damage, according to the Irish Examiner.
