There were two home wins on the opening night of the Cadbury Munster Under-21 Football Championship, while Armagh recorded an away victory in the preliminary round of the Ulster U-21 Championship tonight.

3,027 spectators watched on at Pairc Ui Rinn as reigning Munster champions Cork edged neighbours Kerry by 0-14 to 2-7 in a quarter-final tie.
