Loughrea full-forward Johnny Maher is likely to receive a ban arising from his foul play during last Sunday's Galway SHC final against St Thomas.

The Galway Competitions Control Committee are scheduled to meet tonight to review what happened during the Pearse Stadium decider and discuss the referee's report.
