Eastern Harps clubman Tony Taylor has been promoted to Sligo's starting line-up for their Connacht SFC final clash with Mayo on Sunday.

Taylor takes over in midfield from Eugene Mullen, reclaiming his starting spot after impressing as a second half substitute in the semi-final defeat of Galway.

GAA GPA Footballer of the Month Adrian Marren will continue at full-forward having turned in a man-of-the-match display whilst scoring 2-6 against the Tribesmen.

Although they go into the game as underdogs, Sligo have happy memories of the venue for the provincial decider - they last lifted the Nestor Cup at Dr. Hyde Park five years ago.

Their manager Kevin Walsh also won five Connacht SFC titles as a player with his native Galway. In 2010, his second season in charge, Walsh's Sligo side were just two points away from being crowned provincial champions in a tight final against Roscommon.

SLIGO (SFC v Mayo): Philip Greene; Neil Ewing, Johnny Martyn, Ross Donovan (capt); Charlie Harrison, Mark Quinn, Paul McGovern; Shane McManus, Tony Taylor; Alan Costello, Pat Hughes, Brendan Egan; Mark Breheny, Adrian Marren, David Kelly.
