Cusack suffers suspected Achilles injury

Cork senior hurling team doctor Con Murphy believes that goalkeeper Donal Óg Cusack has torn his Achilles tendon.

Team captain Cusack was stretchered off in the 17th minute of the Rebels' Allianz Hurling League Division 1 semi-final against Tipperary at Semple Stadium this afternoon.

He sustained the injury when dealing with an awkward ball that dropped in under his crossbar.
