GAA training ban period changed

Delegates at today's Annual GAA Congress in Killenard, Co Laois have overwhelmingly voted in favour of a Central Council motion to back a new training ban schedule for inter-county teams.

Delegates at today's Annual GAA Congress in Killenard, Co Laois have overwhelmingly voted in favour of a Central Council motion to back a new training ban schedule for inter-county teams.

The motion, which proposed to introduce a rolling training ban based on a team's exit from the previous season's Championship, was carried by 84% to 16%.
