Up to 90% of voting GAA Delegates to today's Annual GAA Congress in Derry have backed proposals to stamp out sectarian and racist abuse in the association.

Delegates at today's Annual GAA Congress in Killenard, Co Laois have overwhelmingly voted in favour of a Central Council motion to back a new training ban schedule for inter-county teams.

The GAA have said today that at no time did they discuss with the Government the question of the opening up of Croke Park to international sport.
