Corbett withdraws from Tipperary squad

2010 Hurler of the Year Lar Corbett last night informed Tipperary senior hurling manager Declan Ryan that he is calling time on his inter-county involvement, citing 'work and business commitments'.

The 30-year-old Thurles Sarsfields clubman met with Ryan in person tonight to inform him of his decision, and it is understood that he also circulated a text message among squad members.
