Brennan only doubt for Dublin U-21s
Dublin are sweating on the fitness of Ciarán Brennan ahead of Saturday's Bord Gais Energy All-Ireland U-21 Hurling final against Galway at Semple Stadium (7pm).
Dubs manager John McEvoy is hopeful that the Faughs clubman will be available for selection.
"He has a shoulder injury and he has had it for a couple of weeks," McEvoy said today.
"We'll see how he is in training tonight and we will take it from there, but I'd say he will be ok."
Dublin are chasing a first ever All-Ireland title in the Under 21 Hurling Championship, and qualified for the decider following a facile 3-23 to 0-6 win over Antrim in the semi-final at Pairc Esler, Newry.
McEvoy says that despite that comfortable nature of that victory, his side won't be complacent heading into this Saturday's decider.
"No I don't think that at all," he said.
"You play what's out there and you play your next game," he said.
"I don't think that there is absolutely no trace of us being in anyway complacent going into this.
"Galway had an absolutely superb game the last day (against Limerick)
"They will go into this as strong favourites and we will just have to get our own performance right, and if we do that we'll be happy."
Saturday's final is only the fourth time in the 48-year history of the competition that Dublin will contest a decider.
Galway's last All-Ireland title at this level came in 2007, when they beat Dublin by 5-11 to 0-12 at Croke Park.
McEvoy says that intrigue is for the supporters to enjoy.
"For us it is just the next game and we have done that since the start of the year, since the Carlow game," he said.
"It's just about the next game and the next training session and that has served us well.
"I don't think we will be changing anything coming up to the final and we'll be just doing what we have normally been doing.
"The lads have been very relaxed for the last week and hopefully we can carry that into Saturday."
