Dublin's O'Dwyer banned for four weeks

Dublin forward Ryan O'Dwyer has received a minimum four-week suspension for his straight red card in the recent Leinster SHC semi-final win over Galway.

O'Dwyer was sent-off for striking Shane Kavanagh with his hurley in the second half of the game. However, he has avoided a more severe punishment, with the GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee ruling that it was a category 2 offence of 'minimal force.'
