Brady and Carton included in Dubs side
As expected, Tomás Brady has been restored to the Dublin defence for tomorrow night's Leinster SHC semi-final showdown with Galway in Tullamore (throw-in 7pm).
Brady has proven his fitness in training this week after a medial knee ligament injury forced him to miss the Dubs' opening Championship win over Offaly.
He slots in at full-back in a rejigged defensive formation which sees captain John McCaffrey stationed on the right wing and Peter Kelly moved in to centre-back.
Maurice O'Brien is the player to lose out and Daire Plunkett also makes way in attack, as Peadar Carton, the scorer of a late goal against Offaly, is rewarded with a corner forward role.
Carton's inclusion means David 'Dotsy' O'Callaghan will start at full-forward with free-taker Paul Ryan, who top-scored with 1-08 last time out, completing the full-forward line.
The capital's most recent All-Star, midfielder Alan McCrabbe, knows that Dublin will have to fire on all cylinders to beat a Galway side that will be smarting from their poor performance against Westmeath.
"We knew that Westmeath would give Galway a game but we wouldn't take too much out of it. Against us, they'll have a different team with a totally different set-up," he said.
"We'll look after ourselves and see how we get on against them. This will be our biggest challenge. The league was a bonus at the end of the day but the Championship is your main thing.
"We went in against Offaly but the main thing was to come out with a win. We're going to have to up that an awful lot going into the Galway game.
"We know Galway are biting at the bit to get at us and knock us down from the league final. So it's down to us to get a performance on the day," added the Craobh Chiaráin clubman.
