The Ulster SFC preliminary round meeting of Donegal and Antrim will kickstart the live television coverage of the 2011 GAA Football Championships.

The Ballybofey encounter on Sunday, May 15 is the first of this summer's matches to receive the 'live' treatment in what is a trimmed down broadcast schedule.

A week later, the focus will be on the Leinster Championship as Kildare take on Wicklow and Laois meet Longford in a much-anticipated double header at Croke Park.

As ever, RTE will carry the bulk of the live TV fixtures and are set to unveil details of a new magazine programme to add to their Championship coverage.

TV3 will also be broadcasting a number of live games, including Dublin's Leinster SFC opener against Laois or Longford and both the Ulster and Connacht SFC finals on Sunday, July 17.
