National Football League Division 4 round-up
Wicklow and Longford played out a draw, while there were wins for Roscommon and Carlow in Division 4 of the Allianz Football League today.
At Aughrim, a strong finish from Longford helped force a share of the spoils on a 1-12 to 2-09 scoreline.
Wicklow led by 2-07 to 0-08 early in the second half, with JP Dalton netting their second goal.
However, Longford battled bravely and a Bernard McElvanney goal levelled the contest with 10 minutes remaining.
Roscommon and Fermanagh also served up a close run contest at Kildoom, the home of All-Ireland Club SFC finalists St. Brigid's.
Fergal O'Donnell's charges dug deep before running out as 1-12 to 1-09 winners. A late goal from full-forward John Rogers was the catalyst for victory.
Fermanagh led by 1-04 to 0-05 at half-time with the visitors' goal coming from Ryan Jones in the opening minute.
Meanwhile, Kilkenny claimed a notable hat-trick of goals but they remain without a win in 2011 following a 2-21 to 3-01 defeat to Carlow at Nowlan Park.
