Football remains an option in Keaney's future

Conal Keaney has not ruled out returning to play senior inter-county football for Dublin in the future.

Keaney, who won five Leinster SFC titles during his spell with the capital's football team, had decided to throw his lot in with the Dublin hurlers at the start of this year, and will taste Allianz National Hurling League action with Dublin for the first time in seven years against Waterford this Sunday.
