Donal O'Grady has moved one step closer to being confirmed as the new Limerick senior hurling manager tonight, following a meeting of the Limerick GAA Executive tonight at the Gaelic Grounds.

A vote of confidence was passed by the Executive to appoint the Corkman as the Shannonsiders' boss for 2011, however O'Grady failed to receive the unanimous backing of the top table.
