Canty and Sheehan included in Cork team

Graham Canty has been named in the Cork team for Sunday's All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Dublin at Croke Park (throw-in 3.30pm), despite doubts over the hamstring he injured against Roscommon.

Team captain Canty has been listed at centre back by Cork manager Conor Counihan who has also pencilled in another injury doubt, Ciaran Sheehan, at full-forward.

Sheehan sustained a knee injury in the Roscommon game.

However, Counihan conceded this week that there may be last minute changes to his starting line-up, so Canty and Sheehan will not be confirmed starters until shortly before the throw-in.

There are three changes to the Rebels team that overpowered the Connacht champions, with John Miskella, Alan O'Connor and Donncha O'Connor - all used as substitutes last time out - making the side.

Miskella will take over from youngster Jamie O'Sullivan at left corner back, but there is no place for dual player Eoin Cadogan in defence.

Although Cadogan is likely to deputise should Canty not make the cut.

Alan O'Connor will join Aidan Walsh in midfield, having been preferred to Derek Kavanagh.

Nicholas Murphy, another of Cork's midfield brigade, has to be content with a bench role once again.

Colm O'Neill will start Sunday's clash from the bench, as Donncha O'Connor has been drafted in at left corner forward.

Cork, who last lifted the Sam Maguire Cup in 1990, will be appearing in their sixth successive All-Ireland semi-final this weekend.
