No injury concerns for Antrim Under-21s
There are no major injury worries in the Antrim camp ahead of their Bord Gais Energy All-Ireland Under-21 hurling semi-final against Tipperary in Tullamore this Saturday (throw-in 4pm).
The players came through a full round of Antrim Senior Club Hurling Championship ties unscathed over the weekend.
"You can understand the clubs' views too as they want their players as well," admitted Antrim U-21 captain Cormac Donnelly.
"Where you want to be is playing club Championship with your clubs, but we have been struggling to get players out (for training) and stuff because of that.
"Whoever turns up on Saturday to play for Antrim, as long as they put their bodies on the line and give it their best - what more can you ask for."
Donnelly was a key member of the Saffrons senior side that reached an All-Ireland quarter-final this summer, and he is hoping the feel-good factor can continue this weekend, as Antrim aim to reach their first ever All-Ireland final at the U-21 grade.
"We know the task that is ahead of us. Tipperary are a serious outfit and everybody knows that, but sure where else would you want to be that testing yourself against the Padraic Mahers, Noel McGraths and Seamus Hennessys of this world," he said.
"Depending on what Antrim team turns up at the weekend, we will go out and give it a rattle."
