Cody includes 10 of All-Ireland winning team to face Dubs

Kilkenny Senior Hurling manager Brian Cody has stuck with 10 of the side that started last year's All-Ireland final for Sunday's Leinster SHC semi-final against Dublin at Croke Park (2pm).

There is a first Championship start for TJ Reid, who has featured as a substitute in all bar one of the Cats' Championship outings in the past two years.

He takes over the role of captain from Michael Fennelly.

The Ballyhale Shamrocks player is one of five changes in personnel from Kilkenny's All-Ireland final appearance last year with John Dalton, Noel Hickey, Fennelly and Martin Comerford also coming into the side.

Hickey starts his first Championship game since the 2008 All-Ireland decider against Waterford, having suffered a number of injuries last year.

Michael Kavanagh, John Tennyson, Derek Lyng, Eoin Larkin and Aidan Fogarty are the players to miss out.

Tennyson has failed to recover on time, after sustaining a leg injury last weekend.

Meanwhile, there are three new additions to the Kilkenny panel; with Paddy Hogan - brother of Senior player Richie; 2008 All-Ireland U-21 winner John Mulhall; and Eoin Guinan, a member of this years All-Ireland Intermediate club champions St Lachtains, listed among the substitutes.
