Laois name unchanged line-up

Laois manager Sean Dempsey has stuck with the same team which drew with Meath last weekend, for Saturday's Leinster SFC quarter-final replay at O'Connor Park in Tullamore (throw-in 7pm).

It means no place in the starting line-up for Padraig Clancy or John O'Loughlin who impressed as substitutes in the drawn game.

Timahoe clubman Clancy scored two vital points in normal time, which ensured extra-time was required, while O'Loughlin bagged the vital scores to send the game to a replay.

Portlaoise's Michael Nolan continues between the posts, with Peter O'Leary, Mark Timmons and team captain Padraig McMahon retained in the full-back line.

McMahon scored a vital 58th minute goal last Sunday which brought his side back into contention.

Dual player Cahir Healy continues at right half-back, while Cathal Ryan and former AFL star Colm Begley complete the Laois defence.

Meanwhile, former Glasgow Celtic trialist Paul Cahillane and Emo's Darren Strong have been retained in the Laois attack. The duo made their first Championship starts last Sunday.

LAOIS (SFC v Meath): M Nolan; P O’Leary, M Timmons, P McMahon (capt); C Healy, C Ryan, C Begley; B Quigley, K Meaney; B Sheehan, C Rogers, D Strong; P Cahillane, D Kingston, R Munnelly.
