Derek Morkan has been rewarded for an impressive National League campaign by being named in the Offaly team for Sunday's Leinster SHC quarter-final against Antrim.
Lining out at left half-back, Morkan will make his full Championship debut as Offaly battle it out with the Saffrons at Parnell Park (throw-in 3.30pm).
The Shinrone clubman was used twice as a substitute in last year's Championship campaign, in the All-Ireland qualifier games against Cork and Antrim.
Offaly manager Joe Dooley has made four changes to the team that overwhelmed Antrim by 1-28 to 0-13 in their All-Ireland SHC relegation play-off clash last July.
Morkan, Rory Hanniffy, Daniel Currams and Joe Brady come into the starting line-up, with Ger Oakley, Dylan Hayden, Brendan Murphy and Conor Mahon the players to miss out.
Oakley (shoulder) and Murphy (back) have both been troubled by injuries in recent weeks, but the pair, along with broken thumb victim Ger Healion, are fit enough to be included among the substitutes.
Kilcormac/Killoughey clubman Currams will start at right half-forward having recovered from a thumb injury.
Offaly have won five of the sides' six previous Championship meetings, with Antrim's only victory coming in 1989.
The winners of Sunday's encounter will face Galway or Wexford, who meet on Saturday, in a Leinster semi-final tie at Croke Park on Sunday, June 20.
