Joyce to miss Galway's league run

Former captain Padraic Joyce is expected to miss the remaining games in Galway's National Football League campaign, with a niggling Achilles tendon problem keeping him sidelined.

Joyce underwent surgery on the injury last year but his recovery is taking longer than expected and medics have recommended that he continues with a rehabilitation programme.
