New manager Peter Fitzpatrick has kept faith with the side that started last weekend's opening league win over Wexford, which was the Wee County's fourth successive victory of 2010.

The full-forward line of Colm Judge, JP Rooney and free-taker Brian White scored eight points between them in the 0-13 to 1-8 success, while midfielder Ronan Carroll (0-3) and centre-forward Andy McDonnell (0-2) also had scoring contributions.

Shane Lennon, a second half substitute last time out, will have to be content with a place on the bench again this weekend, and the returning Darren Clarke also adds to Fitzpatrick's options.

Confidence is certainly high in the Louth camp, but selector Johnny McDonnell insists that the players will not lose the run of themselves after qualifying for the O'Byrne Cup final and making a winning start to the league.

"The lads are very level headed about it. They know it's only one game so I don't think anyone will be getting too carried away with it," he said in the aftermath of the Wexford tie.

"Four wins out of four, you can't ask for more than that. Okay, it was the league that we were gearing up for. It just happened that we were after winning three games in the O'Byrne Cup and now we're in the final of it.

"That's not being coy or anything but it was all about the first game against Wexford.

"We were probably the far better team in the first half but we kicked nine wides. Overall I think we were happy to come away after it with the points."
