Two late points by Gareth Noonan enabled reigning Munster champions Drom-Broadford retain their Limerick Senior Football Championship title after a gripping decider at the Gaelic Grounds today.

Admission was free because when the sides met a week ago the game was abandoned at 0-5 each due to a serious leg injury to Fr. Casey's player Tom Cahill.

And it was close all the way on this occasion also, with the Drom-Broadford in front by 0-4 to 0-3 at the interval.

Only a point separated them only two minutes from the end when Seamus Lenihan levelled for Fr. Casey's but they ran out of steam in the crucial dying minutes.
