The GAA Senior Hurling Championship will have a new structure next year, after delegates at this morning's Special Congress voted in favour of the proposals.

The unanimous decision to have a new Hurling Championship structure for 2010 was taken at Citywest Hotel, but only after an amendment by the Leinster Council.
