Ollie Moran has been added to the Limerick attack for Sunday's All-Ireland SHC semi-final clash with Tipperary (Croke Park, throw-in 3.30pm).

Team manager Justin McCarthy confirmed his starting line-up after the panel's training session tonight.

2007 All-Star Moran comes in for his first start since the Munster semi-final replay loss to Waterford in June, taking the centre forward berth.

The Ahane clubman came on for Wayne McNamara during the first half of Limerick's recent quarter-final win over Dublin, and McNamara is the player to drop out of the side for this weekend's game.

Niall Moran, Ollie's younger brother, missed the victories over Laois and Dublin with a broken finger but is back training and could feature off the bench.

Corner back Damien Reale has shaken off a knock to retain his place in the Shannonsiders' full-back line, while in-form youngster Gavin O'Mahony will again partner Donal O'Grady in midfield.

David Breen has been listed at right corner forward, alongside Paudie McNamara and free-taker Andrew O'Shaughnessy, although some positional switches are expected.

Paul Browne scored a goal and Niall Moran struck nine points in Limerick's last competitive meeting with Tipperary - a 1-17 to 1-11 defeat in the National League in Thurles last April.

LIMERICK (SHC v Tipperary) - B Murray; D Reale, S Lucey, M O'Riordan; S Hickey, B Geary, M Foley (capt); D O'Grady, G O'Mahony; J Ryan, O Moran, P Browne; D Breen, P McNamara, A O'Shaughnessy.
