Meath boss sticks with tried and tested
With last week's flu bug behind them, Meath will field an unchanged team for tomorrow's All-Ireland SFC third round qualifier clash with Roscommon at Pairc Tailteann (throw-in 7pm).
Stephen Bray and Peadar Byrne were both struck down by illness but have proven their fitness in recent days, allowing manager Eamonn O'Brien to select the same side which started the 10-point defeat of Westmeath.
Team captain Bray returned to the Royals' starting line-up in the only personnel change for the Westmeath game.
In addition, O'Brien has made one positional switch for the visit of Roscommon.
Cian Ward is set to start the Navan tie at full-forward, with Nobber clubman Brian Farrell in the left corner.
Regular full-back Kevin Reilly remains an absentee due to a back injury.
These sides last met in the 2006 All-Ireland qualifiers, when Meath raced to a 13-point victory in Navan.
Joe Sheridan, the recent man-of-the-match against Westmeath, scored 0-04 that day.
Meath (SFC v Roscommon) - P O'Rourke; C O'Connor, A Moyles, E Harrington; S Kenny, C McGuinness, C King; N Crawford, B Meade; P Byrne, J Sheridan, S Bray (capt); D Bray, C Ward, B Farrell.
