McGarrity in for Mayo
Mayo manager John O'Mahony has named Ronan McGarrity in his starting line-up for Sunday's Connacht SFC final against neighbours Galway at Pearse Stadium (throw-in 4pm).
McGarrity is pencilled in at midfield, although the participation of the Ballina Stephenites clubman is dependent on a late fitness test which will take place on Sunday morning.
The talented 27-year-old sustained a broken cheekbone while in action for his club in a Mayo Senior Football Championship clash with Crossmolina last Sunday week.
O'Mahony has just made one change to the side that started in last month's comfortable semi-final disposal of Roscommon at the newly redeveloped McHale Park.
Liam O'Malley will start in place of Donal Vaughan at right corner-back.
However, like McGarrity, O'Malley's involvement is also subject to a late fitness test on Sunday morning.
