GPA meet over GAA recognition and funding issues

The Gaelic Players Association (GPA) have released a statement to confirm a meeting of the National Executive Committee of the players' body took place tonight, and that informal discussions with the GAA are ongoing.

"A meeting of the GPA’s National Executive Committee took place tonight to discuss the on-going situation concerning official recognition and government funding," the statement read.
