Sides named for Munster MFC decider
Both Kerry and Tipperary teams have been announced for Sunday's ESB Munster Minor Football final at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, Cork.
Kerry manager John Kennedy has made wholesale changes for the game, with three changes in personnel and numerous positional switches.
Out of the team that beat Clare in the previous round are defenders Michael Finnegan and Jeremy Hoare along with midfielder Declan Doody.
Waterville's Greg Gibson, James Coffey of Beaufort and St Michael's-Foilmore forward Damien Kelly all come into the side.
Left-corner back last day out, Niall Fitzgerald swaps directly with former left-half-back Danny Wren, with Gibson and Coffey moving into defence.
There's a new look midfield partnership with Jack Sherwood and Rathmore's Donal O'Sullivan at centre-field.
Captain Niall O'Shea switches from right-corner forward to the half-forward line alongside Shane Carroll and Michael Brennan, while Ian Galvin, Damien Kelly and Eanna O'Connor, son of Senior boss Jack form the full-forward line.
Meanwhile Tipperary manager David Power has opted to stick with the same fifteen that overcame Clare last day out, however there are three positional switches.
Newport clubman Ross McGrath moves from centre-half forward to a full-forward berth. Michael Ivors of Ballingarry moves from top of the right to centre-half forward, with Liam Treacy taking over at right-corner forward.
Meanwhile there is a change to the substitutes list, with Owen Byrne of Rockwell Rovers replacing the injured Paul Nolan.
Kerry have won 40 Munster MFC titles they have contested to date, while Tipperary have claimed Munster silverware on five occasions. Kerry are bidding for back-to-back honours, while Tipperary are seeking a first title since 1995
Kerry have already beaten Tipperary in this years Championship, when in the Round-robin stages at Semple Stadium, Thurles they emerged 1-11 to 1-06 winners on April 15.
