Cork to face Kerry on Saturday

The Munster Council has announced the date, venue and time for Cork v Kerry Munster Senior Football Championship semi-final replay following the side's drawn encounter at Fitzgerald Stadium this afternoon.

After a last-gasp Bryan Sheehan free earned Kerry a replay, Munster Council officials have announced that the great rivals will meet again at Pairc Uí Chaoimh in Cork next Saturday at 7.30pm.

The sides last drew in Championship action at the All-Ireland semi-final stage last year - 3-7 to 1-13 following a 72nd-minute penalty goal from John Hayes.

Kerry emerged victorious in the replay by 3-14 to 2-13, before losing the All-Ireland final to Tyrone.

Today's game is only the fourth occasion which Cork and Kerry have drawn in Championship action.
