NHL wins for Carlow, Wicklow and Monaghan

Christy Ring holders Carlow have overcome Kerry by 1-13 to 2-5 in Division 2, it finished Kildare 0-17 Wicklow 1-13 in Division 3A, and neighbours Monaghan beat Cavan by 4-10 to 3-4 in Division 4.

The big hurling clash of the day is at Semple Stadium where troubled Cork go up against Munster champions Tipperary at 7.30pm.
