Mayo crush Silgo IT

Second half goals from Austin O'Malley and Michael MacSuibhne earned Mayo a comfortable 2-20 to 0-07 win over Sligo IT at Ballinode this afternoon.

John O'Mahony's charges were always in control of this FBD League tie and thanks to scores from Barry Regan, Michael Moynes, Aidan Kilcoyne and O'Malley, they led by 0-10 to 0-02 at the interval.

Despite improved weather conditions on the restart, nothing could stop the visitors from securing a convincing victory.
