Losing run continues for Derry

Derry are still without a win in this season's Dr McKenna Cup after they suffered a three-point defeat to UUJ at Ballinascreen today.
Damien Cassidy's side, which had an experimental look to it, led by 0-07 to 0-04 at half-time but they lost their way in the second half.
Ciaran Donnelly punished Derry's indiscipline as he top-scored with 0-08, all from frees. Indeed, Donnelly kicked five frees in the second period to help the Jordanstown students came to the fore.
Seamus Bradley led the Derry scoring with three successful frees and the Oak Leafers, with only one point from their opening two games, face a must-win clash with Donegal next weekend.
