Victory for GMIT against Leitrim in FBD League

Roscommon's Donal Shine (1-06) was in outstanding form for GMIT as they prevailed at Tuam Stadium in the FBD League.

A late brace of Shine frees was enough for GMIT, who trailed by 0-09 to 0-03 midway through the game.

In a game which saw yellow cards dished out like confetti, a Shine penalty goal which brought GMIT back into contention.

Free-taker Emlyn Mulligan and Damien O'Donnell tried hard to keep Leitrim in front, but GMIT's hunger shone through.
