Mid Kerry crowned SFC champions

Aidan O'Shea's last-gasp penalty decided a feisty replay as Mid Kerry were crowned Kerry SFC champions at Fitzgerald Stadium.

Kerins O'Rahilly's, managed by recently re-appointed Kerry boss Jack O'Connor, went 0-09 to 0-07 ahead when David Moran brilliantly pointed in injury-time.

But Mid Kerry bounced immediately back to earn a penalty which O'Shea, son of Kerry great Jack O'Shea, dispatched.

The sides were level at half-time but strong performances from the O'Sheas, Donncha Walsh and Darren and Sean O'Sullivan helped Mid Kerry prevail.
