Counihan and McCarthy reappointed to Cork jobs

The managers of Cork's senior hurlers and footballers have both been reappointed for a further two years.

Football manager Conor Counihan also succeeded in having his selection committee reappointed.

Hurling boss Gerald McCarthy, meanwhile, will name his selectors at the next board meeting.

A replacement will have to be found for Martin Bowen, who was recently appointed manager of Erin's Own.
