Carlton release Aisake Ó hAilpín

Corkman Aisake Ó hAilpín is one of six players who have been released by AFL club Carlton Blues.

O’hAilpin, brother of Cork hurler Seán Óg and Carlton player Setanta, was recruited as an international rookie in the 2005 NAB AFL Rookie Draft but failed to play a senior match in his time at the club.

It remains to be seen whether he will return home to play hurling with Cork or seek another Australian Rules club.
