GAA appoint McGill as Operations Manager

The GAA have released a statement confirming the appointment of Feargal McGill as the Association's Operations Manager.

McGill takes up the role having spent six-and-a-half years as Information and Publications officer for the GAA.

A member of the Bornacoola GAA club in County Leitrim, he will work directly with Director General Paraic Duffy in the effective management of his responsibilities and will also have responsibility for Player Welfare matters.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that the ESB All-Ireland minor football final replay between Tyrone and Mayo will take place next Saturday afternoon.

The game, which is an all-ticket affair, will go ahead at Pearse Park in Longford (throw-in 2.30pm).

Tickets, priced at €15 (terrace) and €20 (stand), are currently available from the participating County Boards, the GAA website and Ticketmaster.
