Wicklow make Murphy decider

Wicklow came from behind against Leitrim to keep their grip the Tommy Murphy Cup and qualify for next weekend's final.

Mick O'Dwyer's men prevailed after a titanic semi-final battle at Aughrim, with free-taker Tony Hannon (0-08) and Leighton Glynn (0-03) landing the match-winning points.

Leitrim took a 0-08 to 0-07 lead into the second half, with Emlyn Mulligan and Colin Regan both on target.

Midfielder Noel Doonan also impressed for the visitors and while Mulligan had a six-point tally, Wicklow had the stronger finish.
