Special GAA congress to consider disciplinary rules

A special GAA congress will take place in Croke Park on October 4, 2008 to consider a number of proposals.

The items up for discussion include:

- A new electronic player and general membership system

- A revised Hurling Championship structure

- Disciplinary playing rules proposals

- Further recommendations of the Player Burnout Task Force.

The 2009 Annual Congress will take place in Cork on April 17 and 18 next year.
