First start for Waterford's Nagle
Dungarvan midfielder Jamie Nagle will make his senior championship debut for Waterford against Offaly in tomorrow's GAA All-Ireland SHC qualifier at Semple Stadium, throw-in 5pm.
Nagle comes in as one of two changes new manager Davy Fitzgerald has made to the team that disposed of Antrim in the third round of the qualifiers.
Nagle, who scored two late points as a substitute against the Saffrons, joins team captain Michael 'Brick' Walsh in midfield.
The switch sees the benched Dave Bennett pay for a poor free-taking display last time out.
Seamus Prendergast also joins the Deise's half-forward line, replacing Stephen Molumphy after recovering from a shoulder injury.
Fitzgerald, meanwhile, has kept faith with the new-look defensive spine of Ken McGrath at full-back and Tony Browne at centre-back.
McGrath looks set for an intriguing head-to-head with Joe Bergin, who scored three goals for Offaly in their surprise win over Limerick last weekend.
The Deise have made a positional switch up front as well. Dan Shanahan moves from full-forward to wing forward, with Eoin Kelly going in the opposite direction.
Tomorrow's meeting will only be the second senior championship game between Waterford and Offaly.
They first met in the All-Ireland qualifiers in 2005 when the Munster men won by 1-26 to 1-15 at Dr. Cullen Park.
Admittedly impressed by Offaly's showing against Limerick, Fitzgerald said: "Their form against Limerick was incredible but I've known Offaly a long time and I never came across a team that didn't tackle, battle and hurl.
"Look at how they performed last Saturday. Of the two teams we could have got, Offaly showed a lot better form than Cork in the qualifying round.
"We know in Waterford that we have to raise our game quite considerably.
"We have had no test since the Clare match and we're coming pretty cold into this game. The Limerick game will stand to Offaly," he added.
