Eugene Cloonan is set to miss Galway’s GAA All-Ireland qualifier against Cork on Saturday.

The Athenry man has been in hospital for the past fortnight due to a blood infection.

He picked up a small cut in Galway's win over Antrim earlier this month and has been battling a fever ever since.
